Hosted by Pat Kessler of WCCO-TV!

The event is open to the public; your $5 admission (ages 12 and under free) for Saturday's events will help benefit local animal rescue organizations.

We also appreciate unopened cans or bags of pet food to donate to local food shelves.

On Saturday, August 3, 2013, we invite you and your dog to the Village Park in Stockholm for our 4th Annual Dog Days of Stockholm*. Dog Days is a full day of events for families and dog lovers!

  • Show off your dog!
  • Be amazed by talented dogs!
  • Gather with dog lovers!
  • Check out vendor booths!
  • Win prizes!
  • Eat terrific food!
  • Adopt a shelter dog!
  • Have a great day!

*The primary goal of Dog Days is to adopt homeless dogs into good homes. We are thrilled that last year's event resulted in the adoption of 53 adoptions! Dog Days works because people who meet shelter and rescue dogs in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere are more inclined to adopt than at the Humane Society or shelter.

Beloved Musical Duo, Patchouli, to Headline Dog Days of Stockholm Silent Auction Event on Saturday, April 13, 2013 Patchouli

The 4th Annual Dog Days of Stockholm is pleased to announce national recording artists and local favorites, Patchouli (Julie Patchouli and Bruce Hecksel) will provide musical entertainment at its upcoming Silent Auction event on Saturday, April 13 at the WideSpot Performing Art Center in Stockholm, WI.

The perennially entertaining and tirelessly touring Patchouli light up the air with sparkling acoustic sounds and their powerfully contagious chemistry. Their down-to-earth, hopeful songwriting is “New American Folk” blending elements of folk, pop, flamenco and jazz with world beat rhythms that City Pages magazine says “… is amazing” and compared to “… taking a yoga class in a field of running mustangs.” Patchouli is as busy in the studio as they are on the road, having just released their newest album “Anything is Possible” in January 2012, featuring vibrant mixed-media cover art created by the artists that they feel represents the music and lyrics of the project. “Anything is Possible” is already quickly rising to the top of the new world acoustic music scene and creating new audience favorites with songs like “After After All” and “Away We Go.” The Silent Auction will mark Patchouli’s official local new CD release.

The 4th Annual Dog Days of Stockholm Silent Auction Fundraiser, hosted by Pat Kessler of WCCO-TV, will take place from 7:00 - 9:00pm at the WideSpot Performing Art Center in Stockholm, WI. Admission is free and open to all.
