LOCATION
The Village of Stockholm(population 99) is located on the banks of
Lake Pepin in western Wisconsin. Follow Highway 35 and you will find yourself in Stockholm.
Stockholm is about 75 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul, 50 miles from Eau Claire, WI, 60 miles from Rochester, MN, and 18 miles from Red Wing, MN.
Dog Days of Stockholm’s Friday night events
take place in at the Old Schoolhouse.
To find the Old Schoolhouse: Once in Stockholm, turn up 2nd Street and follow signs. It’s a large brick building on your left.
Dog Days of Stockholm’s Saturday events take place in Village Park.
To find Village Park: Once you are in Stockholm, turn towards Lake Pepin, and follow signs.
Lake Pepin is 28 miles long and 3 miles wide. For a scenic family drive, do the Lake Pepin Loop. The Loop is an approximately 70 mile drive. Stop at historical markers, scenic overlooks, and the little towns of the Mississippi River Valley. The eagle watching alone is worth the trip.
